We were especially grateful to Mr. Maximilian, who speaks excellent English and helped track down and return an earbud I’d left behind. It was easy to arrive outside the stated check-in hours, and free parking was included. The room was spacious, with a balcony on a quiet street, comfortable beds, a fridge and the option to make tea. The town center and thermal baths are only a short walk away. We’ve visited Bad Füssing several times and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended, and thank you!

The area was great, with plenty of restaurants and a park within walking distance, and it worked well for an overnight stay. Staff greeted us warmly, though knowing more German might have helped! Our room was large and clean, with a kettle, mini fridge and lovely balcony. The shower had amazing pressure. The bed was comfortable, but the mattress felt a little soft to us. There was no air conditioning.

The mattress was too firm and a bit springy for my back, even though the bed itself was large. The owner might consider replacing the mattresses, since comfort matters so much to guests. Aside from that, Hotel Lichtquelle left us with a very good impression. It’s close to the thermal baths and almost in the center, and the host was welcoming: he called to ask when we’d arrive and came to open the door for us. The rooms are spacious, very clean and decorated beautifully in white. There’s a minibar, comfortable chairs and an elevator. The shower was fantastic, with several massage settings, and there’s a private spa center. Breakfast was decent, with cheese, cold cuts and even herring. For the price, it’s excellent value.
