The location works well for exploring the eastern Harz, and the hotel is fine. Staff were friendly.

We really appreciated the owners, who were so nice and helpful, and there was a lovely garden where we could have a beer. Motorcycles can be parked under cover, which was great. The hotel is close to lots of places to visit and sits beside the 241, an outstanding road for riding.

For sightseeing as well as biking, this is a great base in the Harz mountains. Corinna and Peter made us feel so welcome and did all they could to help. We can't wait to return. It has to be the best bikers hotel around.

We were sorry to leave this quirky place. As a group of bikers, we got a great welcome, and the two hosts were brilliant and ready to help with anything. They had a dinner table booked for us in town and arranged a BBQ for later in the week. It's also a great starting point for exploring the Harz, with smooth, winding roads right outside.

The local roads are a pleasure to ride, and there’s plenty of secure parking. Our hosts were generous and kind, and made us feel at home. The rooms were spotless and spacious.
