Hotel-Pension Waldhaus

We booked the "Wohlfühl-Angebot 1" for two relaxing days in the Harz, with two nights, a massage, a "Sole-Bad", and sauna. From the moment we arrived, we didn't feel welcome and kept feeling as if we were bothering someone. We wanted to set off early for a hike after the first night, but the massage had already been scheduled for 10 a.m. without asking us. It was so poor that we wished we'd skipped it and gone hiking as planned. Sauna access ended at 7 p.m., which didn't suit us since we wanted to stay outdoors as long as possible. The shared-room coffee machine was marked out of order, possibly because there were so few guests, and there wasn't a kettle there either. The interior was very old fashioned. The bathroom had no proper ventilation, and the water took five minutes to get hot. The description on the hotel's own website was completely untrue, and this definitely isn't a 3*** hotel. We left after one night because we felt so uncomfortable, but they charged us the full price for both booked nights even though we hadn't used the whole package. We'll never return and wouldn't recommend it.
