The spa level was just what I needed to unwind, and everyone was so kind. I came across this special family-run hotel by chance, but the website left me with questions, so I called. The owner sent photos of the room and answered everything, which was enough for me to book without seeing it first. I was very happy to arrive to a fresh, clean room with an IKEA-style feel. The raw vegan food was delicious, and I loved having ginger and lemon tea with dinner. I felt welcomed and cared for. It was a wonderful way to spend New Year, and I’d gladly recommend this understated hotel for a little mountain magic. 🏔️

The food is fresh, healthy, and mostly homemade, and there’s plenty to help you recharge, from yoga and massages to wellness and fasting. It’s a small family business with a cosy, unpretentious feel and lovely people. The Harz Forest is one of Germany’s underrated forest gems, a beautiful place to rest and refuel in any season. A lovely spot to reconnect with yourself and nature.

We enjoyed the pool, sauna, massage, dinner, breakfast, and our room. This friendly family hotel offers so many services, and the service itself was really good. It was the cherry on top of our vegan holiday. Next time we’ll stay longer.

I had no idea raw vegan food could taste this good or give you so much energy. Breakfast and dinner were a real highlight, with inventive dishes like raw “frikandellen”. Breakfast isn’t entirely raw, though it does include lots of tasty raw puddings, crackers, spreads, smoothies, fresh fruit, and vegetables. The lunch pack was simpler, with whole fruit and vegetables, nuts, flaxseed crackers, and dried fruit. It was more than enough, and we felt full, satisfied, and energetic. My stay at naturkost hotel was inspiring, and we’ll definitely be back.

The decor is a little dated, but it was perfectly fine, and breakfast had the usual good selection. This is a clean, simple, friendly hotel. Its one star is far better than you might expect elsewhere. We had a lovely visit.
