A relaxed, laid-back pension to stay at, with friendly hosts and good local restaurants nearby. Great price, too.

Birdsong from dawn to dusk in this beautiful, peaceful place. Simple and uncomplicated, and good value for money.

We only stayed one night at Pension Talblick in Bad Grund while hiking the Baudensteig trail from Bad Grund to Walkenried, but everything was very positive. The older building is kept in excellent condition, and you can see the care taken with the details. It made us feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a balcony. We got a great tip for somewhere to eat, Hotel-Café Flora, and were very pleased with it. Breakfast was generous and tasty. We’d ordered a packed lunch and were allowed to help ourselves at the breakfast buffet. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍👍
