We booked Villa Ambiente on the spot after refusing to stay at the appalling accommodation in Goslar. My wife was in tears, and the owner was quite surprised when we arrived, since I'd made the booking online from my phone in Goslar. We had a very enjoyable stay. The only downside came two weeks later, when we were back home in England and received a photo from the Bad Harzburg radar camera. I was fined €10. For English visitors caught by a speed trap, paying online once you're home is easy and much cheaper than asking your bank to do it. 🙂

Right in the center and popular with hikers, this place was also easy to get to. It was very clean, and the hosts were so friendly. I’d gladly recommend it.

The apartment was great, and the terrace was large. We weren’t happy with the cleanliness, though, and the kitchen had very little equipment.

We found it perfect for a relaxing break. The view was great, the owners were very friendly, and it was excellent value for money.
