The landlords were friendly, and the apartment was spacious, well cared for, and beautiful. The surroundings were lovely too.

We’d love to stay here again. The landlords were friendly, and the roomy, very clean apartment is well equipped. It’s quiet by the forest, close to the edge of town, which is lovely if you enjoy nature.

For a family with a dog, the location worked perfectly, with forest walks starting right away. The owners were lovely and easy to deal with. Inside, there’s a private entrance and balcony, a large TV with Philips Ambilight, a roomy modern bathroom, and a bedroom with a big wardrobe. The kitchen is very well equipped, including an induction cooktop and matching dishes, and the apartment has pretty much everything you might need. A beer garden nearby would have been nice, but that’s our only complaint and it has nothing to do with the apartment or its owners. Parking is expensive, though that seems normal these days. The Brocken Railway and its parking ticket cost a lot too. There isn’t much shade left in the Harz Mountains, so bring sunscreen and a hat.

The booking was easy, and the owners, who live in the same house, were super friendly. It’s a spacious apartment with excellent equipment. Hiking trails start just behind the house, shops are nearby, and many Harz Mountains highlights are easy to reach. We’d gladly return.
