The photo was taken from the castle hill and shows Bad Harzburg in the background. We’ve explored the Harz Mountains in different seasons, and we always feel at home at Haus Martin 2. Mr. Martin is a lovely landlord, and the place is centrally located and superbly equipped. We always enjoy coming back, and I highly recommend it.

We booked towels and bed linen separately, and there was free courtyard parking for both cars. Apartment number 3 was modern, clean, and everything worked well. It had Wi-Fi, cooking utensils, pots and pans, plus a small selection of spices. Mr. Martin shared useful hiking tips, and check-in and check-out were easy. We were very satisfied with our three-night stay.

Bad Harzburg is central to the house, with shops, restaurants, and more nearby. We’re already back for the third time, and have no complaints. This is the second time we’ve spent our holiday here with our little son. The landlord is very, very nice and provided a baby-care package with a high chair, travel cot, children’s bed linen, and towels. In short, perfect!

Coffee and tea are included, and every amenity in this small holiday home has been carefully thought through. There’s too much to list. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Martin. Everything here is perfect, and we’d definitely come back and recommend it wholeheartedly.
