This was a great place to rest between our adventures, whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or with family. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the service is great, and there's a fantastic breakfast every morning. If you're after a wonderful stay in the Bavarian Alps, this is the spot. 10/10, I can't recommend it highly enough.

The room was on the small side, but practical and perfectly adequate. Keep in mind there isn't an elevator, and a few of the passages are narrow. Still, the staff were as warm and genial as country grandparents, and I could picture coming back for a few days just to enjoy the atmosphere. It feels like the full Bavarian experience: on arrival we saw guests in lederhosen drinking beer in the restaurant, which is beautifully decorated with local artifacts, including exquisite banners. Being pet friendly earns it an extra star. Breakfast was very nice and inspiring, with local specialties and an unusually broad, high-quality tea selection that I really enjoyed.
