B&B-Keins wie meins

The sunny balcony is a peaceful spot, and the city center and its sights are only minutes away. The apartment has all the comforts of a modern place, while you get to sleep in a beautiful old building surrounded by art and art books. What else could you want? Nothing.

We had a lovely chat when we arrived, and Ms. Habener was such a friendly, dedicated host. The house feels personal and is beautifully furnished, while our room had a lovely atmosphere. Coffee and muesli were provided free of charge. If we're back in Bad Hersfeld, we'd definitely want to stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful welcome.

Cafés are close by, as is the Stiftsruine, and there's a ceramic artist's shop downstairs. I stayed with a colleague in the Hirschzimmer for a concert, and really loved the artistic decor and all the little details. It's a beautiful half-timbered house with comfortable mattresses. Everything can be arranged online, and the safe lets you get the key if you need to arrive at a different time. I nearly walked into the wrong room while talking and admiring everything, but that's on me for not reading the signs 😂. As we were leaving, a gentleman came to ask if everything was alright. I just said, "Yes, thank you, everything was fine," because I didn't want to be awkward again, but I think he was the gentleman on site who was there to check on us 😂. Highly recommend it, and I'd gladly stay again if I'm ever in Bad Hersfeld.

Restaurants and cafés are only a few steps away, and the place is close to the abbey ruins in the pedestrian zone. It's a tasteful holiday home with lovely rooms. Just note that the beautiful rooms are on the 3rd floor, and there's no elevator.
