The place is spacious, which was great for the four of us sharing one cabin, and the bedrooms were very clean and well equipped. Our apartment had a comfortable couch, something I rarely come across. The people were friendly, and it was great being able to ride the Haflinger horses with a well-trained, very friendly riding teacher. Having a parking spot for each cabin was handy. A couple of things would help: a vacuum cleaner, or at least a brush and dustpan, in the apartment for crumbs, chips, and smashed flies on the floor, plus a second large baking pan.

We were a Belgian family with two boys aged 6 and 8, and spent a relaxing, very pleasant week in July 2019 at house Murmeltier. It’s a spacious, comfortable house, well equipped and very well insulated, with an impressive mountain view. The Oberjoch area’s hiking trails and the open air swimming pool in Bad Hindelang made it a great base. The cosy sofa and rain shower were especially nice, though some mattresses sagged. The boys had fun with the playground, gocars, and horses, and loved their early morning job of fetching fresh rolls from the bakery’s bread chest. We also ate several times at Wirtshaus Kematsried and really enjoyed the excellent regional food.

The Hindelang Plus Card is a great bonus, and there’s plenty to do whatever the weather, so you won’t get bored here. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. The hostess gave us such a warm welcome, and her friendliness really stood out from the moment we arrived. The apartment was fantastic and spacious, with a private bathroom and a kitchen that had a stove and oven, plus more. The pony rides and farm experience were a dream for both the children and us parents. Keep up the great work!!!

Cats were part of the animal crowd too, along with horses, cattle, and a little petting zoo. There was something for all ages, and we came away feeling rested. The Allgäu countryside is still unspoiled, and the quiet and genuine welcome made this a lovely place to stay.
