B&B Hotel Bad Homburg

The room was immaculate, and check-in went smoothly. I was here for two nights at B&B Bad Homburg, and the Wi-Fi was fast, which matters when I'm working all the time. A great stay overall.

It's an OK place to stay, though we've had better and cheaper rooms in Frankfurt. The hotel is clean and tidy but a little spartan, in an industrial office park on the far side of the railway station. There was no train noise at all, despite being beside a main line. Street parking is limited, but there's a paid car park at the end of the block. Entry uses the code in your booking confirmation, handy if you get there after reception shuts at 5pm. We had breakfast each day, and it was the same every time. The rolls should be fresh, and the coffee machine gave variable results. The en suite was fine. The air conditioning was noisy when switched on and could have done with a recharge.

If you get to your room after 22:00, it's automatically left uncleaned. Making guests opt in to cleaning without any discount, especially when they expect good service, is a poor policy and will push customers away.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, and the food was good too. Booking and check-in were both easy. It had everything I wanted.
