It’s a simple, clean and comfortable hotel, right at the edge of the town centre. There’s no restaurant, though they do provide breakfast. That wasn’t an issue for me since there are plenty of restaurants in the centre.

The rooms are a bit dated, but fairly priced for the area. Service was perfect, the sauna was nice, and breakfast was good.

Best three-star hotel in Bad Homburg!

The pool and sauna area have recently been redesigned, and that was my personal highlight. We had three wonderful days at the Darmstädter Hof. The rooms were clean and lovely, the location was great, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and, because of the coronavirus pandemic, carefully prepared for each guest. It feels like a family business that takes pride in using regional products. Parking was easy even with my large bus, so I didn’t need the valet service. The pedestrian zone is only a few steps away, and the castle is a few minutes on foot. I’d happily return, and I’m already looking forward to another visit!
