We agreed on breakfast at 7.30, but when we came downstairs the next morning, the breakfast room was dark and nothing had been set out. We were then told breakfast wasn’t included in the price. The night before, we’d called ahead and been quoted 95 Eur. On arrival, we were told the total would be 107 Eur, and the card reader was supposedly “broken,” so we had to pay cash. Very disappointing.

I was only passing through and decided to spend the night. The staff gave me excellent service, and the place was really nice. I recommend this hotel.

We had booked two rooms for our family, and the service at the Humboldt was excellent. Our questions about changing the booking, sent by phone and email, were answered quickly and professionally. Many thanks to the staff member who took such good care of our requests on December 24th and 25th. Happy holidays to everyone at the Humboldt. We’ll be back!

We stayed for one night and got a very friendly welcome. The rooms are simple, but spotlessly clean and have everything you need. The beds were comfortable and firm, with no sagging. Breakfast was straightforward and plentiful, presented with care, and included fresh fruit and boiled eggs. The owner was courteous, friendly and helpful. There’s an elevator, and parking can be reserved separately. We’d highly recommend the hotel.
