The mornings were lovely, with a nice quiet town for walks along the river, and breakfast was good every day. Pension Villa Nordland was a very comfortable stay and they catered for everything. I booked a long weekend for a quiet break in Bad Kissengin, which was central to the places I wanted to visit, Frankfurt and Nuremberg. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, I’d recommend it. They’ll look after you.

The owner was very friendly and attentive to what guests needed. Breakfast was plenty for one person, often more than enough, and we’d happily come back. Parking is limited, so booking a space in advance is a good idea. We had a lovely weekend at the villa. It’s been renovated beautifully while keeping its original charm, which comes through in the rooms.

Mr. Strauch, the owner, is super friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast buffet has a good, varied selection. This is a small guesthouse of about five rooms, all very nice and clean, with great mattresses. The location is great too, just around the corner from the rose garden. I’d come back anytime :)
