The room was spacious, clean, and neat, though the bathroom could use some improvement. Our host was friendly, easygoing, and spoke good English, so communication was simple. We chose this inn for its mountain access and as a less expensive option than hotels around Neuschwanstein Castle. It was roughly halfway between the castle and the ski town of Garmisch Parten-Kirchen, with the mountains easy to reach too. I doubt we’ll be back in this area, but if we are, we’d start here again. I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms were quiet and the setting was lovely. We stayed a year ago for the Oberammergau Festival and had a really nice time. The room was simple, the landlords were friendly, and the price was reasonable. We’d happily return.
