Berg-Oase

There was room for everyone across the two floors, with six bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, and three living rooms, one large and two smaller. Our group of six adults and four kids fit comfortably. The beds were very good, the linens decent, and the bathrooms had clean towels, showers, and toilets. The living spaces had big dining tables and comfortable sofas, and the kitchens were well equipped. Everything was charmingly furnished and very well kept. The mountain retreat works perfectly for a group of ten. It's easy to reach by car above the town center, though walking there calls for reasonably sure footing. A vacation rental I'd highly recommend.

The balcony view is lovely, and it's peaceful there. The only interruption was the occasional tea dance in the spa park, which was actually quite amusing to hear. We spent a week at the Berg Oase (Mountain Oasis) for a fasting retreat, and it helped make the week a success. The apartment was so spacious and full of thoughtful details that our first look around nearly left us speechless. We didn't find ourselves wanting for anything. Getting to know the owners was pleasant from the start. A quick call to say we were on our way was enough, and the owner was there to greet us warmly. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Berg Oase and its beautiful surroundings. We knew we'd return and have already booked for next year. Many thanks to the owners!

We all felt at home straight away during our family reunion with three generations. The apartments are spacious and beautifully designed, with plenty of ways for a large group to spend time together or have some space apart. The Fritschler family were very friendly, even though we only spoke by email. We'd happily come back, and Bad Lauterberg has lots of lovely places to visit.
