The excellent location and the fact that it was relatively clean were about the only positives for us. We wouldn’t recommend this apartment or book it again. Getting to it meant crossing the courtyard and climbing a narrow, dangerous spiral staircase to the second floor. The first impression inside the house was awful too, with cupboards full of dog leashes and curtains. I won’t even get into the balcony or the view. The kitchen was badly equipped, with just one pot and no wine glasses, and the furniture was a complete mismatch. I won’t comment on the color scheme either. The bed linen was so scratchy that we wondered if it had ever been terry cloth. I can’t make sense of all the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We’re definitely not coming back, and can hardly believe that staircase was approved for a rental property.
