Mühl Vital Resort

My afternoon rest was interrupted because my room was directly across from the elevator. I could have asked for one further away, so I’ll remember that for next time. I was also disturbed in the sauna’s “quiet zone”, though not by guests, luckily there were hardly any there that day. I think it may have been kitchen staff banging containers and throwing away trash. Still, nothing to complain about, and the hotel is lovely and worth a visit. I went for their Day-Spa deal, currently 39 Euros, which included breakfast, a room for the day and use of the sauna area. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with a great variety, including lovely loose tea and champagne. Staff were lovely throughout the hotel, the sauna area was nice, and the place was very clean. There’s also a little pond and river next to the hotel, which is quite nice.

Breakfast was excellent, which was the bright spot for us. The resort feels dated, and although our room was spacious, it had no amenities. We were told the beds would be two singles pushed together, and that was what we got. WiFi didn't reach our room. Dogs barked for an hour and a half in the morning, though I don't blame the resort for that. The spa area is broken up into sections. Most frustrating, staff didn't seem to take our complaints seriously, though we said we'd pass them on to management.

The sauna and swimming were top notch, and the food was great. Everyone was lovely, from the staff to the people around us, and it was a magical experience in our region. It’s dog friendly, and we also had a massage. I only wished there were more VEGAN options. I don't think you'll regret staying here.

We paid quite a bit, but the good food and great service in the bar and restaurant helped make up for it. The sauna area could use some attention, and the gym is a joke. The wellness area seemed fine. I had a good massage, though I didn't try anything else there.
