The Tibetan healing massage at the practice in the house was the highlight for us. It turned the visit into a real wellness experience. The Erholungskellerchen and the wonderful massage treatment are easy to recommend, and we'll definitely return. The place itself is beautiful, peaceful and well cared for, with extremely friendly hosts. It was ideal for slowing down and enjoying a few stress-free days. Externsteine and the lavender fields are nearby, and there's a lake and thermal bath within walking distance of the apartment.

Our first impression of the apartment was okay, and the price was right, but I still expect a basic level of cleanliness and a toilet seat that works without pulling hairs from my thigh. I can't understand all the reviews praising the cleanliness. Pictures attached. When we arrived, there was nobody there. We called the massage parlor, and the man gave us the key safe combination. That essential information wasn't sent through Booking.com until 6:15 PM.

It took a little walking to get to the pedestrian zone, but it was easy enough to reach on foot. The basement apartment was charming and cosy, and I felt at home right away. Getting in was straightforward: the key was in the building's safe, and the code had been emailed.

The owners communicated well, and the location worked well for reaching tourist spots, though it was a little tricky to find. We loved the lake nearby for walks with our dog. Inside, everything was thoughtfully furnished and harmonious, and it was absolutely clean. The towels and bed linen were top quality. I've had rooms elsewhere where the towels smelled so strong they couldn't be used. Highly recommended!

We felt so comfortable in this lovely apartment. It looked just like the pictures, and the hostess was very nice. There was everything we needed for cooking and eating.
