I only booked here because my first-choice hotel was full, but I'm glad I did. I checked in late, and the owner waited for me after hours. That really touched me. She also put together a quick breakfast because I had to leave early the next day. So thoughtful.

We stayed in the Amelia suite, and it was so nice. The room was amazing, breakfast was delicious, and the spa area was enjoyable. We also walked to the Christmas market and Solymar spa. Carol and her husband were so accommodating. When we nearly missed our train, they drove us to the station, and we made it on time thanks to them. The drinks and snacks in the lobby were a nice touch. Top-notch hotel, highly recommend it, you'll love it.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and it’s an easy walk into downtown. But the restaurant was the real highlight: the best meal I had during two weeks in Germany. I was a bit unsure about having to reserve by 4 and pick from just two appetizers and two entrees, but the food turned out amazing, both beautiful and delicious. The patio is lovely too. I highly recommend it.

Everything felt just right, from the welcome and room to breakfast. It was quiet, very clean, and only a few hundred meters from the center of Bad Mergentheim. Our room also had a small fridge and kettle. We loved staying here.

We used this hotel as a base for three nights during a motorbike tour around the Black Forest area, and it worked really well. The owners and staff were lovely and always ready to help. My room had tasteful decor, a balcony, and was beautiful, while the gardens were a great spot for the barbecue we had one evening. They adapted meals for my Coeliac needs, which made it ideal for gluten-free food. I’d happily recommend staying here.
