Turmvilla Bad Muskau

The rooms were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. Still, our room had a few grease marks on the walls, and two bedside lamps only worked after we changed the bulbs ourselves. The food was very good and worth recommending, although I found my pike-perch portion a little small. That’s just personal preference. All in all, it’s a lovely hotel I can recommend.

We tried to eat at this restaurant three times during its opening hours, and each time we were turned away because a party was taking place and customers weren’t welcome. There was no notice to let potential guests know a private event was happening. We can’t rate or recommend the restaurant after that. Maybe they should reconsider running one, because turning people away is bound to make them very unpopular. Hagen Neumeister

The portions were generous, the Indian food was delicious, and the staff were friendly with excellent service, even during the busy Christmas season. We’re delighted this fantastic restaurant has opened in the Turmvilla. We’ll definitely be back!

Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel looks lovely from outside, and our room was quite large with plenty of space. But it smelled strongly of sewage the whole time, which was very unpleasant. We suspect the smell came from the shower. There were cobwebs in the door frame and odd stains on the duvet, too. The thin curtains let in a lot of light at night. If you want a quiet night, avoid weekends, since private parties in the restaurant can go on late. To be fair, reception offered us earplugs at check-in. Parking is also rather limited on weekends.
