The wine list is fabulous, and the staff are warm and friendly. It’s a relaxed restaurant with a great feel, and the food is very good. Prices are a bit higher than elsewhere nearby, but I thought it was worth it. Highly recommend.

Lunch was a lovely experience, with a genuinely pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. We were after traditional German cooking, and this felt authentic. I’ve avoided flour-based foods for years, but even I tried some of the homemade German noodles (Spätzle) served with the beef cheeks. Highly recommended!

Someone told us this was the place for traditional food, supposedly the best in town. The food was good, classic German cooking with decent ingredients, though I wasn’t blown away. I’m torn between 3-4 stars. Service was slow, and it seemed the kitchen couldn’t keep up with how many people the restaurant seats. Still, I’d recommend a visit if you’re in arweiler.
