Kurhaus Klement

The hotel has a wonderful swimming pool and a lovely, spacious garden. We spent a nice weekend here as a group, and the management and staff were always approachable and very friendly. The meals were plentiful, though we missed freshly prepared salads. In the evenings, we’d have liked more kinds of bread, perhaps including fresh rolls. The hair dryer was frustrating to use: it worked for only two minutes, then needed a two-minute wait before the next use.

We’ve always felt very comfortable here. The owners run this excellent hotel personally, and elderly guests with disabilities are cared for with real warmth. The rooms are tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds; some look onto the garden and have large balconies. There’s an indoor pool, a lovely garden with loungers, and parking at the hotel. You can also have a spa treatment here thanks to the on-site spa physician’s practice. The stylish restaurant, generous breakfast buffet, and Wi-Fi throughout the hotel round things out. Bad Neuenahr’s center, with restaurants, shops, cafes, thermal baths, the spa center, and casino, is an easy walk away.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ll be back as guests of the Schneider family in October. Haus Klement is run by a caring family and staff, and everyone treated us with kindness and respect. The traditional food was delicious, the rooms were clean and well cared for, and the price was excellent for what we got. Nearby, the town center has an idyllic feel with its little shops and cafes, and the Ahr Therme spa is close. We spent a few days here a few weeks ago.

We return every year and would happily stay again. It’s a good guesthouse with clean, pleasant rooms and a generous breakfast, plus the sauna and pool are included. The town center is a little walk away, but it’s quite manageable on foot.
