The reception was only staffed during certain hours, so outside those times there wasn’t anyone around to ask for help. A tablet in the room had information and a chatbot. At first, we couldn’t tell if our request was being read because the screen showed no response, but someone did see the message and brought us what we needed. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. We slept very well. Breakfast had a nice variety and was beautifully laid out, with the garden as a lovely place to eat. Still, by 9:40, even though breakfast ran until 11, lots of food had run out and wasn’t replaced. Some tables weren’t set up for new arrivals, and others hadn’t been cleared. There was no hot water in the tea urn and no teapot lids. The technology is useful, but hotels need a human touch too.

The hotel and rooms were beautiful, and the rooms were tastefully done. I’d expected a bit more of a city feel around it, though I could have checked the map more carefully. For one night with kids it worked really well, but a longer stay might have got boring. Even so, I’d gladly stay here again.

This was the best place I’ve stayed in Germany. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot where you can bring your dog and the whole family, kids included. There’s plenty to enjoy nearby, from KissSalis Therme in Bad Kissingen to a nice pizza at O Sole Mio restaurant. Give it a try and have fun.

The rooms are huge, and they even had lots of toiletries, including men’s shaving kits, cotton balls, women’s supplies, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The food was great too, and the service and people were friendly.

I only went to eat at the restaurant. The food was excellent, the staff gave good service, and the outdoor tables had a nice view of the park. Recommended!
