We had such a lovely apartment, and the hosts were great. The location worked really well for us too. We enjoyed our stay and are already planning to return.

The staff on site were outstanding, friendly, helpful, and better than I can remember experiencing elsewhere. The problem came when I tried to move my appointment after my client changed the date. I wasn't asking to cancel, just to shift the stay by two weeks, and I contacted them three days ahead. It was still very difficult to arrange, and I was charged almost 50 euros as a cancellation fee. Really disappointing. That doesn't feel like good customer service :-((

We spent ten days at Am Sonnenhügel and came away agreeing with all the good things people have said about it. Our room was practical and comfortable, and the owners took great care of us with real warmth. They made breakfast to suit each guest, and the in-room fridge was especially welcome during the late-June heatwave. We felt at home the whole time.

Parking is right by the entrance, and there's a little self-service spot with sweets, drinks, and a capsule coffee machine that was a lovely bonus. The rooms are large, spotless, and very modern, with thoughtful details throughout. Breakfast is made to your liking, and the hosts are friendly and clearly know what they're doing. There's no lift, but they gladly help with things. It was hard to think of anything we needed that wasn't provided.
