At €22 per adult, plus separate prices for children and teens, we expected more from the breakfast buffet. For €100 for my family and me, there just wasn't enough on offer. The fruit was basic, just apples, oranges, and bananas, and the cut watermelon had turned and wasn’t edible. Eggs had to be ordered at the bar, and there were no other hot items. A street sign advertised fresh waffles, but when we asked, we were told the iron would need 30 minutes to heat up, so there were no waffles either.

Britta looked after us really well when we went for dinner during our stay in the area. There were two adults and an 11-year-old, and we all enjoyed the great food and lovely service. Highly recommend.

We’d never eaten here before, but came on a recommendation and were really pleased. The service was generous and outstanding, and the food was sublime. We both had the “Hirschgulach” with dessert. The interior and exterior have been renovated beautifully, and we felt completely at ease. Team Kimmig, thanks for a wonderful evening and dinner. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area!

Dinner at Hotel Kimmig was fantastic. Our table of eight was served together and right on time, and everything was delicious. There was a really diverse menu to choose from. We’ll be back, and recommend it if you’re in the Bad Peterstal-Griesbach area.

The staff were very friendly and our room was tidy. There are so many good choices for food and wine, including seasonal dishes and drinks, so I’d recommend having dinner there while you stay. Save room for Black Forest cake too. The sundae is great as well, I had order envy when I saw the next table get one.
