The room was large, spotless, and had soundproof windows. Even though the hotel is near the road, we could barely hear traffic. Dinner was very nice and included vegetarian choices, and the breakfast buffet had a lovely variety. The pool is small but cozy, and I really enjoyed the sauna. The staff were very friendly and did their best to meet our needs. I was surprised to see the negative comments from other users. I'd definitely come back for another hiking weekend!

I was just hiking the Blackforest Westweg trails, not staying at the place, when they gave me breakfast for free. That small kindness gave me the energy to cover 60 km in one day. Their hospitality really speaks for itself. I'd recommend the place for its location, and especially for its amazing hosts.

The food was good, though I would've liked a bit more seasoning. It's not cheap, but the quality is okay. There's outdoor seating with a beautiful view.

A great stop on a road trip, perched at the top of a gorgeous winding pass. The welcome was lovely, and the coffee was superb. Definitely worth stopping by 👌😁☕️

I stayed one night, and the food was delicious. The employees were the kindest I've ever met.
