The mattresses were good, but the double room was very small. There was no balcony, and the front garden had just one bench, so it wasn't very inviting. The brochure mentioned a garden gazebo for guests, but we didn't see one. It's very centrally located, but there is no guest parking. When we asked the owner about nearby parking that was both good and affordable, we got no answer and had to find a spot ourselves. The landlady was just as unsympathetic, and we didn't feel welcome. Special requests at breakfast, like whole grain rolls or cappuccino, weren't possible, and she made that clear. There was no shared refrigerator or kettle or coffee maker for guests either, though these could easily be provided in the rooms for everyone to use. The smell when we came into the house was awful, like an old musty cellar. That isn't a welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend it.
