It’s a modest, slightly dated place with a personal feel, out by the green edge of Bad Pyrmont and about a 15-minute walk from the center. The service was excellent, breakfast lovely, and the value great. They don’t accept credit cards. It’s not the usual business-trip hotel, but I really enjoyed my three days here.

The bus stop right outside goes directly to the train station, and communication with Ms. Pieper before arrival was easy, even though I got in quite late. I’ve stayed twice for one night each and was very satisfied both times. The hotel isn’t modern, so don’t expect USB ports by the sockets, but it’s well kept and very clean. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Breakfast was really good: delicious bread and rolls, juice, tea and coffee, cold cuts, homemade jams, muesli, quark, yogurt, and fruit salad. They even ask how you want your eggs cooked. On my second visit I had a single room facing the street, with the hospital just opposite, but I didn’t hear any ambulances or anything like that. The beds were soft and comfortable. I’d gladly come back.

We stayed here from 25 to 27 April 2026 to visit friends. The beds were fine, and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
