The location is ideal if you're going to the spa, and I like the place a lot. The rooms have been freshly renovated, including new bathrooms. Breakfast has a good selection and everything you'd want for a German breakfast.

Really good food and their own beer. I can't comment on the rooms.

We were all disappointed, which is a shame, and the food didn't seem worth the price. Our party of five arrived for our 6:30 p.m. reservation, but we were left waiting at the entrance for about five minutes before getting a table. Drinks came just after 7, and the food around 7:45, so patience is needed. The staff were friendly but seemed overwhelmed because the restaurant was so busy. Management should also deal with the cobwebs on the ceiling.

The place was clean and well kept, with a cozy rustic feel, and we'd happily return. I can't confirm the negative reviews. There were four of us at the busy inn for dinner, and we were all satisfied. Two had farmer's omelets, one ordered venison with Spätzle, and one had a ham platter. Every meal came with a side salad. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, and everything was freshly made, tasty, and served after about 15 minutes.
