For the price, I expected a lot more. The rooms were dirty, with odd yellow marks on the blanket, and there were several spiders. It looked as if nobody had cleaned in ages. Booking lists this as four stars, but I wouldn't give it any. To me, it's worth at most half of what they're charging.

The room layout makes really smart use of the space and feels comfortable, with ergonomic touches that help make it easy to use. I slept well. The artistic design is unusual too. A great example of how hotel rooms could be laid out.

We stayed here over New Year's to visit the Sinsheim Therme, which is just 11 minutes away, so the location worked really well. The welcome felt a bit cold because the staff were very serious, though that seemed like a fairly normal German service style. The hotel is well maintained, the room temperature is easy to adjust, and everything worked properly. Parking was free and felt safe. Breakfast at the restaurant across the road was excellent.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is conveniently close to the highway. With the window open, though, you can hear traffic, if that bothers you. The listed hotel restaurant is apparently closed, but there's a decent casual restaurant open all night at the gas station next door, where breakfast is served. It was a simple continental breakfast, but perfectly decent. And right next door is the world's only bikini museum, if that's your thing. 😆
