The landlord was very friendly and helpful, and parts of the apartment felt cozy. But it wasn’t the place we thought we’d booked. The listing said it had a garden and was wheelchair accessible, yet neither was true: the garden was for the owners, not guests. Both features were among our search criteria, so that was very inconvenient. The furnishings were also somewhat outdated and not ideal. When we arrived, the key wasn’t in its designated hiding place, so we had to wake the landlords in the middle of the night. The stay wasn’t ideal, and I wouldn’t book or recommend this apartment again.

The price felt completely out of line with what we got. The apartment lacked any coziness, and the dishes and furniture all seemed mismatched. In the bathroom it was dark, with nowhere to put personal things. There was an old cat flap in the door, plugged with styrofoam, and a hole in it. The terrace had no sun loungers for guests. There was also a dog in the house, which wasn't mentioned in the description and could matter a lot to people with allergies or a fear of dogs. The pump for the whirlpool in the owners' private garden ran all day and made a loud roaring noise in some parts of the apartment.

The owners were so friendly, and the apartment was furnished with care. We really liked its location too. We'd happily stay here again.
