Gästehaus Christa Mauerer

We got some really useful tips about the area from the very polite and courteous host. It’s a lovely little B&B in a gorgeous setting, and I’d highly recommend it.

We’d stay here again next time we’re in BR. The location worked perfectly for us, and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed the old-fashioned feel of the house, almost like coming to Grandma’s, with little details to notice everywhere. Umbrellas are thoughtfully left by the entrance for guests who haven’t brought one. My apartment was bright, a good size for one person, and fairly comfortable, though not modern. The shared balcony with a neighbor wasn’t ideal, so keep that in mind. There’s a lovely quiet atmosphere throughout, and I appreciated that smoking isn’t allowed anywhere. Breakfast can be booked, but I didn’t try it. Mrs. Mauerer is friendly and discreet, and available if you have questions or a problem. If you want simple, solid accommodation in Bad Reichenhall without luxury, this is a good choice. I enjoyed my stay and hope plenty more guests do too.

The room had a lovely balcony looking toward Predigtstuhl, and everything was kept clean and tidy. Mrs. Mauerer also gave us excellent excursion tips and put together a generous, varied breakfast with real care. We spent a few cozy, relaxing days with her in September/October 2022. The house sits in a quiet, green spot, but it’s still easy to explore Reichenhall’s paths on foot. A superb stay. Thanks again for all the effort.
