The mini bar was a favorite of mine: wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks were available at pretty much cost price. We enjoyed everything here and would come back. We stayed five nights, and everyone was wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious for two, each with a balcony, and the location made getting downtown easy. Parking was the one downside. It was hard to find a spot if you arrived after 6 p.m.

I keep coming back to this warm, comfortable, spotless family hotel whenever I'm in this lovely part of the world. Breakfast is delicious, and there's a guest fridge plus a little tea and coffee setup. The guest card also gives you free local transport. Berchtesgaden and Salzburg are nearby, as is the fabulous Rupertustherme spa. What really makes it special is seeing the same people each time, from the room cleaner to the reception and breakfast staff. They're all local and part of the family. I can't recommend it enough. It's a world away from a bland corporate hotel.

We loved the breakfast, especially the range of fresh rolls, bread, and crispbread, along with the cold cuts, cheeses, spreads, fruit, yogurt, quark, muesli, and drinks. The rooms were spotless and the bathrooms absolutely top-notch. Mrs. Fuchs was always happy to answer our questions about things to do. The open fridge for cold drinks worked on trust: you wrote down what you'd taken and paid when leaving. We had a caring, lovely stay from 05.04.24 to 07.04.24, and it felt like home. Dear Ms. Fuchs, we'll be back and will warmly recommend you to family and friends. All the best until next time. PS: Enjoy the wild garlic pesto!
