We really enjoyed our second stay with the Leitner family this year. It’s a perfect base for a vacation, with the town, Rupertus spa complex, and a couple of good local restaurants all within walking distance. The property is impeccably clean, and the hosts are especially warm and welcoming. They also sell good local honey products. We’ll be back!

We visited a few years ago and loved this peaceful, cozy place. The spectacular forest views are especially lovely at dawn and dusk, and it was worth the stay for us. Just keep in mind that it’s quite far from Bad Reichenhall, with the nearest shops only in town. The walk between the hotel and city takes about 30 minutes, so you’ll want a car, a bicycle, or good stamina.

The family running the place were friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable. It’s in a lovely location. There’s no restaurant for evening meals, but you can walk to other options.
