The holiday apartment made a lovely impression on us: nicely furnished rooms, and the house was tidy, clean, and quiet. We’d come to visit our uncle and aunt, who were staying there. There’s an elevator and a spacious underground garage. Scharmützelsee is right outside the door, with a walking path, and the thermal baths are next door.

The park is a real highlight, with seating spots, direct access to the lake, and places to swim. It’s reserved for the villa’s residents. From the apartment’s big windows and roomy balcony, you get a wonderful view over the park to the water, and the living room, kitchen, and bedroom all open onto the balcony. We stayed for a few days in May 2024. The apartment is attractively furnished, a little dated, but still in very good condition. There’s an underground parking space, just large enough for a car; a bike rack would make it a very tight fit. Bad Saarow has plenty around: the thermal spa is about 200 meters away, along with restaurants, cycling and hiking routes, and several lovely parks. A very good choice for a short break.
