Casa Meloni

The Harz Mountains were a real find for us. There are hiking trails just two minutes away, and even after two weeks we hadn't managed to see everything within an hour's reach. In town we found shops, supermarkets, a pharmacy, a drugstore, a water park, a playground, a fairytale forest, and a falconry center. The apartment had everything we needed, including tea, coffee, spices, firewood, and firelighters, and the staff were helpful from the time we booked. It's modern and thoughtfully furnished, with a fireplace, hammock, and big beanbag for relaxing. Our five-year-old loved the hammock, and our children, aged five and one, were especially fond of the family bed. A baby cot and highchair were supplied free of charge. We'd recommend it for couples or families.

It's in a central spot with plenty of shops nearby, and the apartment is clean, welcoming, fully equipped, and child-friendly. Pets can stay at no extra cost. It can sleep eight if everyone gets along, though the bathroom is also the passage through to the bedroom.

We've returned five times and are planning to come back again. The owners are friendly and straightforward, and the town center and a supermarket are an easy walk away. It's also a great base for outings and walks. The apartments are bright, spacious, and modern.

We came as two families and found brand-new facilities with everything we needed. They'd also put a lot of care into the welcome information and the materials available at the property.
