Panorama Hotel Am Frankenstein

Good.

The terrace is roomy and sheltered from the wind, and the atmosphere is inviting. We had a comfortable weekend and enjoyed our stay. The setting is scenic, with a fantastic view. The rooms are practical, as hotel rooms often are, though the bed edges are uncomfortable and could use an update. The menu is limited but excellent, and the extra options were appealing. The prices stood out as rather high, especially the beer and a glass of white wine, which were the most expensive I've come across. I expect you have reasons for setting prices that way, but I think more moderate pricing could make the place more popular.

The rooms are a little dated, though I expect some updates will come soon. The panorama is beautiful, the service is first-class, and the new management is friendly. It’s a hotel with heart and good value for money. Thanks for the short stay, and all the best to the team at the Panorama Hotel.

The food was okay, but I wouldn't want to eat here again. We were invited by family on Boxing Day, and the place was packed and so loud we could barely talk to the person next to us. The tables were crammed together, leaving the waiters hardly any room to get through, and once seated it felt like a factory. Our waitress was very grumpy and unfriendly. People who arrived after us got their food first, and I was still waiting for a drink 30 minutes after ordering. It seemed like the focus was on filling tables quickly and making money. Please make the atmosphere more comfortable, so families can enjoy a meal together without all the stress and noise.
