We stayed a week in two apartments as four people and had no complaints. The apartment was lovely and clean, with everything we needed, and check-in was easy. Bad Schandau is a five-minute drive away, parking is on the property, and the price felt excellent for what we got.

The owners are really friendly, and the apartment has everything needed for cooking. It's in a great spot for day trips by car. Tip: I recommend the Heiterer Blick restaurant.

This was our second stay, 5 1/2 years after the first, and we loved it just as much. This time we had the ground-floor apartment, which was spacious and stylish, just like the upstairs one we stayed in before. Our dog settled in straight away, especially with such nice walks nearby. Bad Schandau and the Bastei rock formation are easy to reach, and Hrensko is under a 20-minute drive. Even with the bridge closed, Königstein Fortress took only 40 minutes to get to. We'll definitely come back.

Inside, the rooms were beautifully and tastefully furnished, and everything was spotlessly clean. We also had a little garden to use, and would gladly return. The house is in the village center, among many well-maintained homes, each with its own charm and a feel of an earlier time. At first the small paths running up and down the hills were a bit confusing, but we really enjoyed our stay from the start.

We've now stayed twice, in two different apartments, and both were clean and furnished with care. Bad Schandau is only a 10-minute drive away, making Rosalie a fantastic base for a holiday in Saxon Switzerland. I highly recommend this holiday home.
