It's a clean, low-budget place with very friendly staff. There's no front desk, and staff are only around in the mornings. They let me check in at 8 a.m. when I just wanted to drop off my bags.

Sigl's was spotless, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. The staff were a real highlight, always present, attentive, and friendly. Getting around Bad Schandau was easy too, with transport, restaurants, and shops just a short walk away. The app made booking, arrival, check-in, getting around, and check-out simple. Loved staying at this hotel in a charming corner of Germany!

The terrace and its view were lovely. It was a treat to have breakfast there or watch the sun set with a glass of wine, though you need to sort out the drink yourself since the hotel doesn't offer food or drinks. We also appreciated the guest card, which gives discounts around town and free travel in the region. The common kitchen downstairs was handy, even for a longer stay. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious, and self check-in was easy. Staff aren't always around, but whenever we saw them, they were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The check-in time was confusing: first we were told 11 a.m., then got a text saying the room wouldn't be ready until after 2 p.m., when we were already on our way to check in at 11. Check-out at 10 a.m. also felt early.
