The Schwarz family made us feel welcome and were really helpful. Our room was nicely furnished and had everything we needed. The house sits right on the Elbe River in beautiful Bad Schandau, simply fantastic. We’ll definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse.

The place is on the outskirts of town, but that suited me fine as a walker. The hosts were very nice, and breakfast was good. My apartment was clean and practically furnished, with a kitchen for preparing my own meals. Parking was right outside the door.

The hostess herself was nice, and at first glance the apartment seemed okay. But over our few days there in May, we found it was very dirty. There was mold in the living room, and we immediately disinfected the kitchen. The grime under the drip tray was extreme, as if it hadn’t been lifted in a long time. The bedroom was extremely dusty too. The mattresses desperately need replacing. You were practically lying on the bed frame slats.

The rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable, and everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent, and they even catered to special requests. Highly recommended!

A small, neat, clean apartment for two in a very nice spot. You can get everywhere from there. Perfect.
