We slept well and cooked some really good meals at the rustic forester’s lodge. The hikes had stunning views, and the beautiful, secluded surroundings will stay with us for a long time. It made a lovely girls’ weekend with our two dogs. The hostess was so nice, and the lodge had everything we needed. There’s no luxury, but if you’re here to hike and enjoy nature, that’s fine. We didn’t mind the occasional barking from the guesthouse next door. If your dog gets upset by barking dogs at the fence, though, you may want to keep to the area beyond the garden. Two large dogs roam and bark on the neighboring property during the day, though perhaps it was just a coincidence. We managed fine, with plenty of room for our dogs in the surrounding nature. There are good restaurants and supermarkets a short drive away. Wi-Fi is available, though the signal is weak, which was easy enough to manage on a nature holiday. We had a really nice stay and thought the price was fair. Thank you!

We took home some delicious game sausages, and the area was nice for our dog. It’s a lovely old forester’s house in peaceful surroundings, and the hostess was very friendly. Being out in the forest, it’s understandable that spiders and the like can settle in quickly. Still, the kitchen appliances were dusty, the insides of the kitchen cupboards were unclean, and cleanliness overall could be better. A more thorough clean should take care of that. We wish the other guests a wonderful stay.

This is a rustic old forester’s lodge with big terraces, a barbecue, and a well-equipped kitchen. It’s great for anyone who wants to stay somewhere secluded. The owner also runs a dog boarding kennel, so expect to hear some barking.

All the rooms are comfortably furnished, and there’s enough space for six people in this lovely holiday home. The location is fantastic, and the landlords were extremely helpful after we got stuck in the car.
