We were pleasantly surprised, and I’d definitely recommend the place. The name fits: the thermal baths, restaurants, and mini-golf are all easy to get to. The rooms are perfectly fine for the price, and there’s a drinks fridge where you pay on the honor system. Breakfast was superb, with everything you could want, including fresh fruit and vegetables and boiled or scrambled eggs made to order. There’s plenty of street parking. The room was a little dated, but clean. It worked perfectly well for an overnight stay, and the owners were very nice. Breakfast was lovely and thoughtfully put together.

The hostess was very friendly, and I felt at home. It’s a cozy, simple, tidy hotel, and they took care of everything I asked for.

Parking is difficult, though the hotel is close to the town center. The building dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s, and while the rooms were renovated in the 1990s, the bathroom and toilet are still from the original period. Breakfast was about €14.50 for a continental spread, far too much for what was offered. My wife was staying there while I was in rehab, and I wanted to have breakfast with her. The landlords seemed a bit annoyed, so my wife decided to check out. They said the two booked nights still had to be paid for. We didn’t mind, and in the end they credited us for one night! 👍 That’s why I’m giving three stars instead of two.

The people at the hotel were kind and friendly to us, even though the friendly older lady who was there on our first stay wasn’t around during our second visit. We were treated nicely both times, and I’d gladly stay there again.
