We stayed at this hotel/guest house for a wedding at the Tegernse in October/18. It’s done in a typical bavarian-style, with lovely gardens and a nice creek behind it. Our room had a balcony, and breakfast was nice too. The lake is only about a five-minute walk away.

The staff were really helpful, and even though my German is very poor, they never made me feel like a nuisance or unwelcome. My single room came with a balcony, table, and lounger. There was a lovely view, with distant cowbells and the occasional church bell in the background. Breakfast was continental, with boiled eggs and sometimes toast, which I enjoyed.

Parking is right by the house, and the lake is only about a five-minute walk away. The guesthouse is beautifully kept, with a peaceful setting, lovely garden, and gorgeous views. Everything was immaculate and thoughtfully furnished, and the hosts made us feel at home straight away. Many thanks to the Raith family for such a lovely stay. I’d happily return.
