Great.

Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Room 72, in a separate building about 50 meters from the main house, was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a lovely terrace. The staff were friendly and attentive. There are plenty of loungers by the well-kept pool, and the large sauna was clean. You can also book the salt cave for a relaxing break, but you need to reserve it in advance.

We found the staff at both the hotel and restaurant very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious, especially the local meat specialties, though it may not suit vegetarians or vegans. Each apartment includes one parking space, and guests can use the small pool and sauna for free. We stayed in an apartment in one of the outbuildings. The grounds were clean and easy to get around, though the main house and its furnishings felt a bit dated, with heavy wooden furniture and lighting that brought a Black Forest cabin to mind. It's a country house with its own quirks rather than a typical hotel, but I'd recommend it for a vacation.

The garden is beautifully landscaped, and you can sit there with homemade cake and have a relaxed chat. We booked the girls' weekend package and were very happy with it. It's a high-class hotel just outside Bad Zwischenahn, around a 15-minute walk from town. The rooms and grounds around the pool were very well kept. Both the breakfast buffet and dinner were superb, with nothing missing. We'll definitely be back.
