We came for a meal, so I can't say anything about the hotel itself. The setting had just the right feel, old-fashioned but clean, with plenty of modern touches. Service was very friendly, too. I had the Allgäu-style Cordon Bleu, and it was truly excellent with a generous portion. A very pleasant experience. If you're after good German food, this is the place to go.

Dear Sir or Madam, we ate at your restaurant today, March 1st, 2026. The food tasted fine right up until the bill came, but the extra charges were outrageous. The meal was listed at €19.50, and they had already added €1.00 because my wife chose Spätzle instead of fries. That seemed fair enough. Then they charged another €1.00 for the change, €3.00 extra for the Spätzle, and a separate €1.00 for the sauce. Five euros extra in total! I've uploaded the bill so you can see exactly what they're charging. Charging €1.00 for a change is fine, but charging again for a whole side dish over the extra work is incredibly cheeky. I've heard similar stories from other people, who were given schnapps to calm them down so the other guests wouldn't notice. The waitress wasn't the one who added those charges.
