Ferienhaus Schmuckkästle

We could have stayed much longer. The hosts shared lots of tips for enjoying the hiking country around Baiersbronn, whether on foot or using the excellent bike path network. From the first booking contact, the Münstermann family were extremely friendly. On arrival, they gave us a warm welcome, showed us around their lovingly renovated and exceptionally well-appointed home, and left a welcome gift. Everything was top-notch, the best we’ve experienced in a vacation rental. The modern kitchen was a joy to cook in, and the pellet stove made the living room cozy. The new, carefully coordinated furniture made us feel right at home, maybe even better than at home. In the basement, there’s an infrared sauna, a relaxation room, and an extra outdoor area. There’s also a terrace for grilling or having breakfast outside. The name "Schmuckkästle" (little jewel box) suits this house perfectly.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and gave us good information about activities. We already miss the warm conversations and their welcoming manner. This gem really lives up to its promise: the holiday home is beautiful, furnished with care and taste, and has everything. The surroundings were lovely too. We’d love to come back. 💖

We felt at home straight away in this fantastic little holiday home, where every detail has been thought of. On sunny days, the two terraces are lovely; when it rains, the pellet stove and infrared sauna make things cozy. The owners are very friendly and shared great cycling and hiking tips. One week wasn’t nearly enough at Schmuckkästle. The house is a real gem, renovated and furnished with so much care, and we felt at home right away. The hiking trails are a dream. Anette and Berd are super nice, and make you feel as if you’ve known them for ages. They gave us great tips for hikes and more. We’ll definitely be back. For me, the house and landlord deserve 6 🌟.
