Natur-Camp Tannenfels

We mostly had the tent pitch area to ourselves during the week. The campsite is lovely, with walks nearby and a croissant and bread service. The toilet and shower blocks were the best: very clean, with spacious shower cubicles and plenty of hot water. I'd like to come back one day :)

We had to leave earlier than planned, but would have liked to stay longer and unwind in this peaceful spot. The pitches are a good size, and the facilities are very clean. It's well placed for getting into the Forest, with the free bus stopping right there.

The camping area is beautifully kept, with stunning views and plenty of nice walks nearby. It's easy to get there by bus. My only complaint is the lack of a separate little room for cooking or even just boiling water. It rained a lot, and that would be really useful for people with tents only. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend the place.

It was peaceful and quiet at night, and our dog loved swimming in the river beside the campsite. There's also a children's play area, which is great for families. The owners were very kind and helpful, and the service was great. The toilet and shower facilities were impeccably clean, and we especially liked the baby changing room with its own bath. A fantastic campsite and the perfect family holiday spot. We hope to return soon!
