The food was excellent. Rooms are neat and clean, and do what you need them to. Everyone on staff was friendly and capable, including the owner.

We paid €30 for a night with our campervan, with electricity included, which is a really good deal. Power is only available at some pitches. The small campground is behind the hotel, but finding its entrance isn't easy, so we stopped at the gas station next door and went into the hotel. A campervan has been thoughtfully converted into a shower, toilet, and sink area. They'd run out of toilet paper when we were there, though you can wash dishes outside the van. The grounds were very clean, but they're all grass and there aren't any level spots. It's a little outside town, so we picked up takeaway in Ballenstedt. We loved how quiet it was, with hardly any road noise. It also seems to be fairly unknown, since there were just two other vehicles there.

The room was clean, and breakfast was delicious. Everyone working there was so friendly and helpful. A big thank you to them all, and I'll definitely recommend the place.
